Vehicle Defense

You asked for it, and we're here to deliver.

Our first ever Vehicle Defense Course is coming to the ISRA on August 9 and August 30.

This course will cover the fundamentals of shooting in and around vehicles, entering and exiting a vehicle, and scenario based drills designed to expose students to problems they may realistically encounter.

This is NOT an entry level course.

If you do not already have a solid understanding of defensive handgun use, including but not limited to:

• Drawing from the holster

• Reloading while moving

• Malfunction remediation

DO NOT SIGN UP.

As much as we enjoy the opportunity to train you, this is not the class to learn the fundamentals. We'd love to have you in one of our Basic or Intro to Defensive Pistol courses first, but Vehicle CQB involves a much higher level of complexity and potential hazards. You need a strong foundation before attending.

Required Equipment

This is a train how you fight course. The scenarios in this class are designed around situations you may realistically encounter in your daily life.

If you carry a handgun professionally, such as in law enforcement or security, feel free to wear your duty belt and duty holster. If you carry concealed, we strongly encourage you to complete the course from concealment since that is how you are most likely to use these skills.

Required equipment:

• Pistol (Bring a spare if you have it.)

• Quality holster

• Sturdy belt

• Magazine carrier

• Three magazines

• 200 rounds of ammunition

• Eye protection

• Hearing protection

Loaner firearms, equipment, and ammunition are available in limited quantities with advance notice.
